في مشهدٍ يتكررُ مراراً وتكراراً، ويُدمي القلوب ويُشعلُ الغضبَ في النفوس، استيقظَ أهالي قرية جيبيا شمال رام الله على فاجعةٍ جديدةٍ تُضافُ إلى سجل الانتهاكات الطويل: مسجدُ قريتهم، الذي طالما كان منارةً للعبادة والطمأنينة، قد طالته أيادي الإرهاب المنظم، ليتحولَ جزءٌ منه إلى رمادٍ ودخان. هذا الاعتداءُ السافرُ، ليس مجرد حرقٍ لمبنى، بل هو انتهاكٌ لروحانيات أمة، وتحدٍ صارخٍ لكل القيم الإنسانية والدينية، ووصمةُ عارٍ على جبين كل من يصمتُ أو يتغاضى.
اعتداءٌ سافرٌ على حرمةِ بيوتِ الله
لم تكن ساعات الفجر الأولى من يوم الجمعة، الخامس عشر من مايو 2026، عاديةً في قرية جيبيا الوادعة. فبينما كان الناسُ يستعدون لاستقبال خير أيام الأسبوع بالصلاة والذكر، تسللت مجموعاتٌ من المستوطنين المتطرفين، تحت جنح الظلام، لتُضرمَ النيرانَ في مسجدٍ يُعدّ ركناً أساسياً من أركان حياة أهل القرية الروحية والاجتماعية. هذا العمل، الذي وصفته حركة المقاومة الإسلامية "حماس" بأنه "إرهاب منظم تمارسه مليشيات المستوطنين المنفلتة بحماية حكومة الاحتلال اليمينية المتطرفة"، يعكسُ مستوىً غير مسبوق من العدوانية والتجرّد من أي وازعٍ ديني أو أخلاقي. إن حرق دور العبادة، أيّاً كان دينها، هو عملٌ جبانٌ وغادرٌ يهدف إلى إشعال الفتنة وتأجيج الصراع على أساس ديني، في محاولةٍ يائسةٍ لكسر إرادة الصمود وتغيير الواقع على الأرض بالقوة والإرهاب.
بين الإرهاب المنظم والصمود الراسخ
هذه الحادثةُ ليست معزولة، بل هي حلقةٌ في سلسلةٍ طويلةٍ من الاعتداءات الممنهجة التي تستهدفُ الوجود الفلسطيني ومقدساته، تحت غطاءٍ وحمايةٍ رسميةٍ واضحة. فالصمتُ الدوليُّ المريبُ، والتغطيةُ التي توفرها بعضُ الجهات الرسمية لهذه المليشيات المتطرفة، يُعطيها الضوءَ الأخضرَ لمواصلة جرائمها دون حسيبٍ أو رقيب. يهدف هذا الإرهاب إلى تهجير السكان، والاستيلاء على الأراضي، وطمس الهوية الفلسطينية، ولكن التاريخ يُخبرنا أن الإرادة الحرة للشعوب لا تنكسر أمام جبروت الظلم. إن صمود أهالي جيبيا، وتمسكهم بمسجدهم وأرضهم، هو الرد الحاسم على كل محاولات الترهيب، وهو دليلٌ قاطعٌ على أن جذورهم أعمق من كل نيران الحقد. إن تكرار هذه الاعتداءات يُبرزُ الحاجة الملحة إلى تحركٍ دوليٍّ جادٍّ لوضع حدٍّ لانتهاكات المستوطنين وإلزام القوة القائمة بالاحتلال بمسؤولياتها تجاه حماية المدنيين ومقدساتهم.
نداءُ الجمعةِ الأخير: صرخةٌ في وجه الظلم
في يوم الجمعة المبارك، الذي هو عيدُ المسلمين الأسبوعي ويومُ اجتماعهم وتضرعهم، يأتي هذا الاعتداء ليُلقي بظلالٍ قاتمةٍ على قدسية هذا اليوم. فالمسجد، في الإسلام، ليس مجرد مكانٍ للصلاة، بل هو رمزٌ للوحدة، ومركزٌ للعلم، ومدرسةٌ للأخلاق، وملاذٌ للطمأنينة. وقد قال الله تعالى في كتابه العزيز: "وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَىٰ فِي خَرَابِهَا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلَّا خَائِفِينَ ۚ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ" (البقرة: 114). هذه الآية الكريمة تصفُ بدقةٍ بالغةٍ حالَ من يعتدون على بيوت الله، وتُنبئهم بالخزي في الدنيا والعذاب الأليم في الآخرة. إن يوم الجمعة هذا، بصلاته ودعائه، يتحول إلى صرخةٍ مدويةٍ في وجه الظلم، ونداءٍ للأمة الإسلامية والعالم الحر للوقوف صفاً واحداً ضد هذا الإرهاب، ولحماية المقدسات التي هي خطٌ أحمر لا يجوز تجاوزه. إن إعادة بناء المسجد، وترميم قدسيته، ليس مجرد فعلٍ مادي، بل هو تجديدٌ لعهد الصمود والإيمان، وتأكيدٌ على أن شعلة الإيمان لا تنطفئ مهما اشتدت النيران.
في ضوء هذه الأحداث المؤلمة، يبقى السؤالُ الأهم: إلى متى سيظل العالمُ يراقبُ هذه الانتهاكاتِ الصارخةَ لحقوق الإنسان وحرمة المقدسات دون تحركٍ حاسم؟ وهل يمكنُ للصمتِ أن يكونَ شريكاً في هذه الجرائم؟

In a scene that sadly repeats itself, leaving hearts aching and souls inflamed with anger, the residents of Jibiya village north of Ramallah woke up to a new tragedy added to a long list of violations: their village mosque, which has always been a beacon of worship and tranquility, was targeted by the hands of organized terrorism, turning part of it into ashes and smoke. This brazen attack is not merely the burning of a building; it is a violation of the spiritual essence of a nation, a blatant challenge to all human and religious values, and a mark of shame on the forehead of anyone who remains silent or condones it.
A Blatant Assault on the Sanctity of God's Houses
The early hours of Friday, May 15, 2026, were not ordinary in the peaceful village of Jibiya. As people prepared to welcome the best day of the week with prayers and remembrance, groups of extremist settlers, under the cover of darkness, infiltrated and set fire to a mosque that represents a fundamental pillar of the villagers' spiritual and social life. This act, described by the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" as "organized terrorism perpetrated by rogue settler militias under the protection of the extremist occupation government," reflects an unprecedented level of aggression and a complete disregard for any religious or moral restraint. The burning of places of worship, regardless of their faith, is a cowardly and treacherous act aimed at inciting discord and escalating conflict on a religious basis, in a desperate attempt to break the will of steadfastness and change the reality on the ground through force and terror.
Between Organized Terrorism and Steadfast Resilience
This incident is not isolated; rather, it is a link in a long chain of systematic attacks targeting Palestinian existence and its holy sites, often under official cover and protection. The suspicious international silence and the protection provided by some official entities to these extremist militias give them a green light to continue their crimes with impunity. This terrorism aims to displace residents, seize land, and erase Palestinian identity, but history tells us that the free will of peoples cannot be broken by the might of injustice. The resilience of Jibiya's residents and their adherence to their mosque and land is the decisive response to all attempts at intimidation, and clear evidence that their roots are deeper than any fires of hatred. The recurrence of these attacks highlights the urgent need for serious international action to put an end to settler violations and compel the occupying power to fulfill its responsibilities towards protecting civilians and their holy places.
The Final Friday's Call: A Cry Against Injustice
On this blessed Friday, which is the weekly Eid of Muslims and a day of gathering and supplication, this attack casts dark shadows over the sanctity of this day. The mosque, in Islam, is not merely a place of prayer; it is a symbol of unity, a center of knowledge, a school of ethics, and a sanctuary of tranquility. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: "And who is more unjust than those who prevent the mosques of Allah from being remembered therein His name and strive for their ruin? Those would not have entered them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment." (Quran 2:114). This noble verse accurately describes the state of those who attack the houses of Allah, foretelling disgrace in this world and severe torment in the Hereafter. This Friday, with its prayers and supplications, transforms into a resounding cry against injustice, and an appeal to the Islamic nation and the free world to stand united against this terrorism, and to protect the holy sites which are a red line that must not be crossed. Rebuilding the mosque and restoring its sanctity is not just a physical act; it is a renewal of the covenant of steadfastness and faith, and an affirmation that the flame of faith does not extinguish, no matter how fierce the fires.
In light of these painful events, the most important question remains: How long will the world continue to observe these flagrant violations of human rights and the sanctity of holy sites without decisive action? And can silence be an accomplice to these crimes?
