ما وراء الأرقام: التهرب الضريبي كنزيف للمجتمع
إن الحديث عن التهرب الضريبي ليس مجرد أرقام تُحصى في سجلات الدفاتر الحكومية، بل هو حديث عن مبادئ العدالة والإنصاف التي يجب أن تسود أي مجتمع. فعندما يتهرب البعض من دفع نصيبه العادل من الضرائب، فإن العبء يقع بشكل غير متكافئ على كاهل الملتزمين، مما يخلق شعوراً بالظلم وعدم المساواة. هذا السلوك لا يؤثر فقط على خزينة الدولة، بل يمتد تأثيره ليُحدث نزيفاً في النسيج الاجتماعي، ويقوض الثقة بين المواطن ودولته، وبين المواطنين أنفسهم. إنه يساهم في إبطاء وتيرة المشروعات التنموية، ويحد من قدرة الدولة على تقديم الدعم اللازم للقطاعات الحيوية، وبالتالي يؤثر سلباً على جودة الحياة ورفاهية الجميع. إنها مسؤولية جماعية تتطلب وعياً والتزاماً من كل فرد.

في هذا اليوم المبارك، يوم الجمعة، الذي خصّه الله بفضائل عظيمة وجعله عيداً للمسلمين، تتجلى أهمية التأمل في قيمنا ومسؤولياتنا. إن الإسلام دين يدعو إلى العدل والإنصاف، وإلى أداء الأمانات والوفاء بالعهود، ومن أعظم الأمانات هي حقوق الدولة والمجتمع. قال تعالى في محكم التنزيل: "يا أيها الذين آمنوا أوفوا بالعقود" (المائدة: 1)، وهذا يشمل الالتزام بالأنظمة والقوانين التي تخدم الصالح العام. كما حثّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على الصدق والشفافية في المعاملات، محذراً من الغش والخداع. إن التهرب الضريبي يتنافى مع هذه القيم السامية، فهو نوع من الغش والاعتداء على المال العام الذي هو حق للمجتمع بأسره. فلنجعل من هذا اليوم فرصة لتجديد العهد على الالتزام بالحقوق والواجبات، ولنساهم في بناء مجتمعات تقوم على العدل والشفافية والتعاون، مجتمعات لا يضيع فيها حق لأحد. فهل نعي جميعاً حجم هذه المسؤولية المشتركة في بناء أوطاننا؟

Talking about tax evasion is not merely about numbers tallied in government ledgers; it is about the principles of justice and fairness that should prevail in any society. When some individuals evade paying their fair share of taxes, the burden falls disproportionately on compliant taxpayers, creating a sense of injustice and inequality. This behavior not only affects the state treasury but also extends its impact to cause a bleed in the social fabric, undermining trust between citizens and their state, and among citizens themselves. It is a collective responsibility that demands awareness and commitment from every individual.

On this blessed day of Friday, which God has endowed with great virtues and made a celebration for Muslims, the importance of reflecting on our values and responsibilities becomes apparent. Islam is a religion that calls for justice and fairness, for fulfilling trusts and keeping covenants, and among the greatest trusts are the rights of the state and society. Allah says in His Holy Book: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts" (Quran 5:1), and this includes adherence to regulations and laws that serve the public good. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also urged honesty and transparency in dealings, warning against deceit and fraud. Tax evasion contradicts these noble values; it is a form of deception and an assault on public funds, which are the right of society as a whole. Let us make this day an opportunity to renew our commitment to rights and duties, and to contribute to building societies based on justice, transparency, and cooperation – societies where no one's rights are lost. Do we all fully grasp the magnitude of this shared responsibility in building our homelands?
